Cornwall

It is located in the Sout-West of England.

We don’t know a lot about it yet, but we will visit it in June with the international section.

We will see historical monuments,  we will visit the famous Dartmoor Park and see its landscapes.

We will sleep in host families and we will be next to the beach and we are going to work with English students for one day!

We hope to eat typical english food.

Check the program on the Rosa Parks International Blog !

Here is a detailed summary of our trip, day to day :

Interesting facts !

The Celtic people of the Cornovii inhabited the region before its conquest in the last century by the Angles and the Saxons.

The population spoke then a Brythonic language later became Cornish. Breton is closely related.

Many names of places have analogies with those found in the Breton part of continental Brittany; many medieval saints are common to both regions.
